Senior backend developer

FULL TIME EMPLOYEE

We are looking for backend developers to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Work with project owners to bring ideas into real products that the customers love.

• Setting deadlines and delivery dates.

• Prioritizing and breaking the work down to tasks and sprints.

• Identifying potential problems and solutions to those problems.

• Work with development teams and product managers to create software solutions

• Building and designing scalable and maintainable backend infrastructure and systems. Design client-side and server-side architecture

• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

• Building, documenting and maintain public APIs

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior backend developer or similar role

• Several years experience with building and maintaining applications written in Node.js

• Experience of designing scalable databases (Postgres, Mongo, DynamoDB)

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, experience running a team of developers is a plus.

• Full Professional Proficiency of English, both technical and conversational.

• Great attention to detail and an analytical mind

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Amazon web services as a hosting platform. Experience with CDK, Lambda, DynamoDB is a big plus.

• Experience with building high throughput and auto scaling systems.

• Experience with payment systems and cross border e-commerce.
