Frontend developer with Wordpress experience

We are actively seeking a motivated Frontend Developer with a strong proficiency in WordPress. In this role, you will interface directly with our customers to integrate the Sesamy system into their existing CMS platforms, primarily WordPress.

Key responsibilities of this role include maintaining and enhancing our public WordPress plugin, leading the development of future plugins for other CMS platforms, and working within our Next.js and Vercel stack. Experience with digital publishing and online payments is a plus.

You will also be charged with keeping our customer-facing documentation current and continuously refining our onboarding process based on feedback and insights from each customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to ensure seamless integration of the Sesamy system into their existing CMS platforms, chiefly WordPress.

• Oversee the maintenance and improvement of our public WordPress plugin.

• Spearhead the development of future plugins for other CMS platforms.

• Work within our tech stack built on Next.js and Vercel, contributing to overall system efficiency and performance.

• Detect and mitigate potential issues, offering effective solutions.

• Manage tasks effectively, set project deadlines, and deliver on key targets.

• Maintain and regularly update customer-facing documentation.

• Continually enhance the onboarding process based on insights from customer interactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer, specifically in WordPress.

• Demonstrable expertise in building and maintaining applications within CMS platforms, with a focus on WordPress.

• Proficiency with Next.js and Vercel.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to detect and resolve issues.

• Proven project management skills, capable of planning, prioritizing, and executing projects effectively.

• A customer-centric approach, with a knack for working directly with clients to facilitate system integration and address any issues.

• Full professional proficiency in English, in both technical and conversational contexts.

• Understanding of SEO and web performance metrics.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Prior experience leading a team of developers is a bonus.
